Maine Parts & Machine is a Precision Production Machine Shop that specializes in complete unattended machining of bar stock to completed parts. We have a total of 34 CNC pieces of machinery, 13 of which have both turning and milling capabilities. We can hold as many as 36 milling tools on a single lathe with 10 programmable axes.

Maine Parts and Machine was bought by current President Bill Kelton in 1985. Bill is joined by his wife Deborah Kelton who serves as Treasurer and son Josh Kelton who serves as Vice President. The Kelton family takes pride in continuing to grow the company as well as employing over thirty employees.

Our 18,500 square foot facility is conveniently located in Portland, Maine and houses over thirty CNC machines. In July 2012 our management team decided to expand our facility to allow for future growth of the company. The new 4,500 square foot expansion helped to better optimize the workflow of the facility and allowed for more room for new machinery.

The expansion also allowed for a second inspection room. In our new inspection room is where our Zeiss coordinate measurement machine is operated, completely isolated from the shop floor in a stable environment to ensure precise measurements.
