C T was established in 1981 as a small two man business dedicated to building and servicing customer tooling needs. C T bought 2 presses and established a molding facility in 1993 to offer our customers the additional service of sampling molds and production molding. C T Engineering offers molding and sub-assembly capabilities. We have 12 molding presses in operation ranging from 66 ton to 500 ton. Material capabilities cover Polystyrene, Nylon, PSU, PBT, Polycarbonate, Polypropylene, HDPE, ABS and Acetal and more. Whether you need a quick prototype, long run production, existing mold corrected or want to start a new project from scratch, we are here to help. C T offers the customer on-site support to address new tooling or repair issues, and to assist with continuous improvement programs. Excel Manufacturing has been in business for 42 years and utilizes state of the art manufacturing and inspection processes. Our staff of 80 averages over six years of experience. Our quality system is registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. Delivery performance is 99% on-time. Located 60 miles south of Indianapolis, Excel Manufacturing specializes in machining precision parts and performing assembly operations for various manufacturers. We have 40 CNC vertical & horizontal machining centers and turning centers. Major customer markets include diesel engines, building elevators, automotive drive components, mounted bearing housings, commercial lawn garden transmission housings, commercial vehicle suspensions, high capacity pump impellers/housings and industrial brake parts. Annual volumes range from five to 250,000 pieces per year. Machined parts are made from cast iron, ductile iron, cast aluminum, cast steel, cast bronze, steel forgings, stainless steel and steel bar and aluminum bar. We also have long term experience with difficult to machine materials such as austempered ductile iron with 340 BHN. Size capabilities range from 2” diameter to parts 60” long and up to 500 pounds. It is our goal to develop long term relationships with new OEMs utilizing our expertise on a wide range of materials and processes.
