Upon receiving my honorable discharge from the Naval Security Group, U. S. Navy, in November, 1971, I began working with my father's tool shop, learning tool making from the ground up. In my career I have worked on or built blank dies, form dies, pierce dies, draw dies, progressive dies, extrusion impact dies, and dies that combined one or more of the above. I have also built molds to produce production parts from plastics to rubber. I have built dies for conventional presses, toggle presses, forming and drawing press and toggle presses, multi-slide presses and fine blank presses. Some of the parts I have built dies for are the RAM emblem and the Chrysler emblem for Chrysler the Cadillac V emblem for General Motors when they were made from aluminum. I built the multi-slide dies for the McPherson Struts for the very first K-cars. In April of 1990 I began working for Feintool America, building fine blanking tools. In 1993 I began programming and running CNC machines for Feintool. This gives me twenty-three years experience setting up and running CNC equipment. In 2012 I purchased my own four axis CNC and started my own business. I profiled several different plastic parts in that time in 3D mode. I have my own CadCam system using IronCad and SprutCam programming systems and am in the process of upgrading to the newest releases of both programs.
