Who we are: Lillard Manufacturing Inc. is a small contract manufacturer in Northern California, started in 2004. Our initial work consisted mainly of aftermarket automotive, marine, and motorcycle components. In the last two years, we’ve moved steadily away from those markets, and into more elaborate and demanding industries like fluid management, defense, electronics, and alternative energy. Where we are: We are located in Woodland California. In July 2008 we moved to a new 4500 square foot facility, at Harter Business park on the North end of town. We’re 12 miles from Sacramento International Airport, 12 miles from Davis, 85 miles from San Francisco, and 400 miles from Los Angeles. See our website for the exact details. What we do: We specialize in contract manufacturing of complex machined components. This often includes plating, light assembly, packaging, and delivery. We also perform subcontract and 2nd/3rd tier work for larger machine shops that don’t have horizontal machining capability. We do not currently offer Turning, Grinding, or EDM services in house. How we do it: We utilize the best available machining and inspection technology to gain a competitive advantage over traditional machine shops. Our equipment includes two Mazak high speed, 4 axis, horizontal machining centers, and a Direct Computer Controlled (DCC) 5 axis Brown & Sharpe CMM capable of inspecting all critical features of most parts in a single operation with no human intervention. Lean practices, automated machining, automated inspection, and good old fashioned attention to detail are the building blocks of Lillard Manufacturing Inc.
